See....I have a Bump!

I know.........been horrible with the blogging. I hope with this post I will be able to redeem myself. :) I have been long awaiting the baby bump. Everyone laughs at me when they see me. I tell them look at my stomach and I stick it out and rub it. In turn I get this perplexed look and then they respond " you hungry?", "you just finished working out?"  In my mind I feel that everyone can see that I'm pregnant. So I have a photo from an movie screening Ahmed and I attended last Sunday and another I took today in my workout clothes so you can see a little something. It's still early ...4months.
I did feel a little fluttering on the right side of my stomach and I believe there might have been a little dancing feet going on. I was cleaning the kitchen to my Soca Therapy Volume 2 Mix ............so I can understand the need to jam. :)
I am feeling better and better as time moves on.  I just wish I could get through the nite with out getting up every 2hrs to pee! I guess its God's way to prepare me for when the baby comes.

I have gotten to the point where I no longer lay on my back to sleep or exersise. One its dangerous for the baby(slows blood flow) and its just uncomfortable.  Ummm....whatelse? Oh... I'm eating healthy. I didn't have any cravings untill I fell in love with this cucumber avacado sandwich I made. I know wierd, but it agrees with me.

Oh! Is it a Girl or Boy?............we will find out Very Soon!!!!!

Lots of Love,
Raq

Feeling Good

Hi Family & Friends,
I'm 14 weeks and the clould has lifted. My nausea is gone and food is staying down! I feel like a new person............. I feel like a person! Still no cravings for the exception of wanting to drink something fizzy other than the usual ice cold water. My list of foods I can stomach has remained the same, but like I said what an improvement!

LAST WEEK: Ahmed and I went in for our second ultrasound last week. They performed tests on the baby (thru ultrasounds and blood) to determine if there were any abnormal chromosones. The doctor said everything looked fantastic! There was no extra fluid in the back of the babys head (which would signal that something may be wrong). According to medical statistic a woman who gives birth at the age of 35 has a 1:230 chance of having a child with down syndrome. After my results, my chances were 1:1200. So, we were very relieved and happy.
We still do not  know the sex of the baby, but we will find out in 2 1/2 weeks! :)

The end of our First Trimester!

Greetings to all of my Friends & Family!
This is my official announcement that we are pregnant!

How am I feeling?
I apologize for not being in contact lately, but I have been on high Morning Sickness Alert. :) Yes.......It is bad. And its with me 24/7. I lost 12 pounds and I
am hungry! :) But, Please do not worry, the nausea is not as intense as it was
in the beginning and I am feeling slightly better with the aide of Anti-Nausea medicine. (it's baby safe)
Today's Schedule:
We had our second ultra sound today and reality hit me as I watched this new
little life (6cm) on the monitor. It didn't look like a little bean! It looked like a little mini baby
with a strong heart beat, little head, hands lifted up in the air, feet kicking........it was amazing.
I couldn't believe at 12 weeks a baby's development happened so fast!  We are sooo Happy.
Unfortunately, it is too early to tell the baby's sex. But,we are taking a poll. So, if you want to take a guess you have a 50/50 chance. :)  There is only one baby, believe me! That was the first question I asked.
What can I eat?
Well, Rice & Pea's or Beans, fish (not spicy), Pineapples, Nectarines, Red Grapes, Green Grapes (I have to peel the skin), Veggie Burger, (no condiments), and Sorbet.  It is a limited diet, but its something.
Thank you for all of your love and support.
