This is my official announcement that we are pregnant!
How am I feeling?
I apologize for not being in contact lately, but I have been on high Morning Sickness Alert. :) Yes.......It is bad. And its with me 24/7. I lost 12 pounds and I
am hungry! :) But, Please do not worry, the nausea is not as intense as it was
in the beginning and I am feeling slightly better with the aide of Anti-Nausea medicine. (it's baby safe)
Today's Schedule:
We had our second ultra sound today and reality hit me as I watched this new
little life (6cm) on the monitor. It didn't look like a little bean! It looked like a little mini baby
with a strong heart beat, little head, hands lifted up in the air, feet kicking........it was amazing.
I couldn't believe at 12 weeks a baby's development happened so fast! We are sooo Happy.
Unfortunately, it is too early to tell the baby's sex. But,we are taking a poll. So, if you want to take a guess you have a 50/50 chance. :) There is only one baby, believe me! That was the first question I asked.
What can I eat?
Well, Rice & Pea's or Beans, fish (not spicy), Pineapples, Nectarines, Red Grapes, Green Grapes (I have to peel the skin), Veggie Burger, (no condiments), and Sorbet. It is a limited diet, but its something.

YAY!!!!! I'm glad the sickness is subsiding.....I can't wait to see baby's second photo...heehee. And just think..soon you will be able to enjoy a tall glass of nimbupani.....
Aww congrats on the ultrasound! Isn't that unbelievable? Just one word of advice, based on personal experience-- DON"T try to laminate that ultrasound pic. Burns it to a crisp. Brilliant. If we were there, we'd sit around and peel grapes for you. oxoxoxo!

i am glad you are feeling better,,,and i will deliver any of the foods u need,,,foot rub included,,,as long as u let me touch ur tummy when ,,,,hmmmmm,,,this is the part where i guess the sex.......
uuuuuugh,,,,,i am gonna say a boy,,,,,anyways, when "he" moves,,,i wanna feel......

Congrats to you both!!! Raquel when you start showing I want to see pictures. Hopefully it is smooth sailing for the rest of the pregnancy. Luv ya!!

I am so excited for you guys!!! And I am going to guess...girl. I don't know why, and I'm not exactly the best guesser, but I'll just say girl. Brooklyn thinks it is a girl too, she told me last night, over ice cream and apple pie.
Hey, I've been avoiding eating peanuts - apparently, there is speculation that if a pregnant woman has allergies, avoiding peanuts can lessen the chances of her child having bad allergies/asthma. Hasn't been confirmed but there is speculation. No peanut butter, peanuts, peanut-flavored anything (thought I would pass this on as a fellow allergy sufferer).

YAY!!!! Simon is already talking about his new cousin. I think it will be a boy (although God help you if it is. He will be FAST!) So glad you're keeping a blog. I'm RSSing it.
